The RV 3 Rotary Evaporator is the manual basic model in the family of IKA Rotation Evaporators, serving a multitude of applications across the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries as well as research, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Digital displays for speed and heating bath temperature enable optimum control of all distillation processes. The 4-litre heating bath covers a temperature range from RT to 99 °C and features an integrated safety lift-out function in case of power failure, carrying handles, and a locking button for fixing the heating bath temperature. A red indicator on the locking mechanism shows the unlocked position of the vapor tube, while the flask clamping mechanism with integrated push-off function allows for easy exchange of evaporation flasks. The manual lift with adjustable immersion angle offers single-handed operation suited to both left- and right-handed users, and the unit is fully compatible with the entire range of IKA RV 10 glassware; the package includes heating bath HB eco and the RV 10.40 dry ice condenser coated glassware set.
