The Biosan FTA‑U vacuum aspirator is a durable, high‑performance benchtop system crafted for demanding laboratory environments in research, clinical diagnostics, and quality control settings. With adjustable vacuum up to –95 kPa (–950 mbar) and aspiration rates of 12 L/min (air), it efficiently handles viscous liquids, dense cell suspensions, and varied reagents.

A foot pedal is supplied as a standard accessory, enabling hands-free operation to reduce user fatigue during repetitive tasks. The chemical-resistant and easy-to-clean casing is suitable for placement inside biosafety cabinets or on benchtops.

Key safety and performance features include integrated electronic overflow protection with audible and visual alerts to prevent spills or contamination, and a 0.2 µm hydrophobic microbiological filter that automatically seals when wet to protect the pump and maintain sterility. The vacuum pump halts when a threshold level is reached, preventing vacuum implosion.

The system uses an oil-free micro-diaphragm pump that operates quietly and with minimal vibration, delivering stable and reproducible aspiration performance. While the foot pedal is included with the unit, supplementary accessories such as hand operator modules, multichannel adapters, or mounting stands are available separately.
