Visiofocus PRO non-contact infrared thermometer
The Visiofocus PRO thermometer is a professional contactless infrared thermometer for measuring the body temperature of patients. Without using a laser, the measured temperature is calculated and displayed on the forehead. The device has a simple internal calibration mode to guarantee a correct temperature.
The Visiofocus PRO thermometer detects the infrared radiation naturally emitted by the body and, in particular, from the human forehead. The forehead is ideal for recording the temperature because of the important underlying vein structure and the proximity of the brain. Moreover, the forehead is the first place on the body where temperature changes occur when the fever goes down or rises.
During the measurement, the thermometer never comes into direct contact with the patient, so that cross-contamination through contact is excluded. This makes this infrared thermometer an ideal tool for nurses, doctors or other medical professionals in pandemic situations where a fast and accurate temperature measurement is required. Is the temperature detected with VisioFocus® the same as other thermometers and other body parts? When set in oral or rectal mode, the temperature is very similar to the oral and rectal internal measurement with other thermometers, respectively. To achieve this result, VisioFocus® software automatically applies a correction factor that compensates for the heat
dissipation of uncovered body parts (such as the forehead).
