SILICOSEN® are specially processed culture stoppers made of sterile rubber with a continuous bubble structure, designed for the preparation, filling and sterilisation of culture media. Thanks to their uniform pore structure and good air permeability, they are particularly suitable for the cultivation of aerobic microorganisms.
SILICOSEN® stoppers exhibit low water evaporation, making them ideal for long-term cultures. They are chemically resistant, temperature resistant, liquid repellent and reusable.
Moisture loss is minimal, significantly reducing the drying out of the culture medium.
