SILICOSEN® are specially processed culture stoppers made of sterile rubber with a continuous bubble structure. They are designed for the preparation, filling and sterilisation of culture media. Thanks to their uniform pore structure and excellent air permeability, they are ideal for the cultivation of aerobic microorganisms.
SILICOSEN® stoppers have low water evaporation, making them particularly suitable for long-term cultures. They are chemically resistant, temperature resistant, liquid repellent and reusable.
They offer excellent permeability and are particularly suitable for the cultivation of aerobic bacteria and for use in shaking cultures.
