SILICOSEN® are specially processed culture stoppers made of sterile rubber with a continuous bubble structure. They are designed for the preparation, filling and sterilisation of culture media. Thanks to their uniform pore structure and good air permeability, they are particularly suitable for the cultivation of aerobic microorganisms.

SILICOSEN® stoppers have low water evaporation, making them highly suitable for long-term cultures. Both types are chemically resistant, temperature resistant, liquid repellent and reusable.

Moisture evaporation is minimal, which significantly reduces drying of the culture medium.
