The SAUTER FM 500G is an electronic force gauge for testing the stability of tombstones in accordance with VSG 4.7, suitable for documented inspections by specialist stonemasons. It measures up to 500 N with a readability of 0.2 N, stores up to 500 measured values internally and transfers them to a PC via USB. With the limit value function, the device gives a visual signal as soon as a set stability limit is exceeded; peak-hold and track functions are also available. The rechargeable battery lasts a full working day, and the metal housing and wide pressure plate with foam rubber surface allow mobile use without damaging the stone.
