Rainin tips TR-1000S

TerraRack racks are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate, plastic #1), the same material as drinking water bottles. PET is the most widely recycled plastic globally and can be converted into products of equivalent quality. A TerraRack contains 50% less plastic than a standard PP rack and is easily compressed, taking up less space as waste.

Sterilised by gamma irradiation — a method that completely inactivates the biological activity of micro-organisms without leaving chemical residues.

All Rainin BioClean Ultra pipette tips are manufactured in a Class 100,000 cleanroom with fully automated material handling (zero human contact). Each batch is tested for: human DNA (<0.32 pg), bacterial DNA (<1 pg), RNase (≤10⁻⁹ KU/µL), DNase (≤10⁻⁷ KU/µL), endotoxins (≤0.001 EU/mL), proteins (<2 ng/tip), proteases (≤500 ng/mL), PCR inhibitors (not detected) and ATP (<2×10⁻¹² mg/µL).

LTS vs. universal: what is the difference?
Universal pipettes and tips use a classic conical shaft, compatible with multiple brands including Gilson, Eppendorf, Sartorius. They offer flexibility when tips from multiple manufacturers or multiple pipette brands are used in the lab. The seal relies on friction between the conical tip and the shaft, requiring more force for loading and ejection compared to the LTS system. Rainin universal pipettes deliver the same metrological accuracy as LTS models, but are less ergonomic during intensive prolonged use. Universal tips are not compatible with Rainin LTS pipettes.
