Rainin tips GPS-LTS-A-10µL-/L-960/10

The Green-Pak and Green-Pak SpaceSaver refill system uses existing reusable racks. The refill packaging is made from PET (#1), the most widely recycled plastic. Because no new rack base is needed, this system saves up to 80% plastic compared to a standard rack. With the SpaceSaver system, 8 or 10 wafers are delivered per sleeve, making refilling fast and hygienic.

The low-retention coating consists of a uniform hydrophobic layer applied to the inner surface of the tip. Because aqueous liquids have a higher contact angle on this surface, adhesion is minimised and liquid ejection is maximised. This is particularly relevant for expensive or scarce samples (proteins, DNA, RNA) and liquids with low surface tension such as detergents or isopropanol.

All Rainin BioClean Ultra pipette tips are manufactured in a Class 100,000 cleanroom with fully automated material handling (zero human contact). Each batch is tested for: human DNA (<0.32 pg), bacterial DNA (<1 pg), RNase (≤10⁻⁹ KU/µL), DNase (≤10⁻⁷ KU/µL), endotoxins (≤0.001 EU/mL), proteins (<2 ng/tip), proteases (≤500 ng/mL), PCR inhibitors (not detected) and ATP (<2×10⁻¹² mg/µL).

LTS vs. universal: what is the difference?
The Rainin LTS (LiteTouch System) is a proprietary pipette-tip system in which the shaft is cylindrical rather than conical. A small sealing ring near the top of the tip creates a perfect, leak-free connection with the shaft. A positive stop prevents over-insertion of the tip. The result: up to 85% less force required for tip loading and ejection. This significantly reduces the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) during intensive pipetting. Moreover, the consistent seal improves reproducibility regardless of the user or channel. LTS tips are exclusively compatible with Rainin LTS pipettes and are not intended for use with other brands or non-LTS Rainin pipettes.
