Pipette SEDINOV BK (type P2) graduated

The Sedinov BK pipette is a disposable pipette, used for manual speed determination of erythrocyte sedimentation rate. It has a printed scale and is used in combination with a test tube for vacuum blood collection ESR (containing sodium citrate anticoagulant in concentration of 0.129 mol / l.

Pipettes are manufactured of high quality polystyrene. The scale is linear - graduated from 0 mm to 150 mm, with a spacing of 1 mm, the numerical marks are set every 10 mm. To determine the erythrocyte sedimentation rate a small amount of blood - 1.6 ml - is required. When inserting a pipette into a test tube with the sample blood, the blood column is automatically adjusted to the top of the scale (blood stops when the white pin is reached). Automated pipetting directly from the tube provides a special adapter (rubber seal), which is installed at the bottom of the pipette. The adapter adheres to the wall tubes resulting in excess pressure.
