The Neogen Petrifilm™ Enterobacteriaceae Count Plate enables accurate enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae within 24 hours. During glucose fermentation, colonies produce acid that causes a pH indicator to turn yellow, offering a clear visual signal. In addition, the top film traps the gas generated during fermentation, providing an additional confirmation of microbial activity. This method offers speed, reliability and ease of use.
