Increase the efficiency of your homemade face mask with our non-woven filters.

These filters from certified non-woven material offer breathing comfort and increase the filtering capacity of your homemade face masks. Place one filter sheet in your mask and you will increase the efficiency of your mask by 66%. If you place two sheets in a row in the mask, you will achieve a whopping 85% filter efficiency and this while your breathing comfort remains good.
The sheets are pre-cut to a size of 13cm by 15cm and are intended to be used in combination with face masks made according to the approved pattern of the FPS Public Health. You can also easily trim the filter sheets. The pattern and instructions to make a face mask yourself can be found at www.makefacemasks.com. Once your mask is ready, simply slide a filter sheet between the cotton layers and you can get started. Always wear the mask in places where social distancing is not possible or where many people come into contact with the same objects, such as in food stores, at the pharmacist or in the DIY store. Use the mask correctly and respect the rules of good hand hygiene.

You can wash the filter sheets up to three times at a high temperature (70 to 90°C). (shrinkage is possible, the filter structure does not change) It is recommended to use the filter for no longer than 4 hours. After use, the filter sheets should safely end up in your residual waste bag.

Important note: Such homemade masks and filter sheets are only intended to prevent cross-contamination between the wearer of the mask and other persons and objects. So you wear this to protect others, not to protect yourself. This solution does not provide adequate protection against viruses, it only prevents spread via saliva particles. After all, homemade masks and filter sheets do not achieve the filtering efficiency or fit of professional FFP2 or FFP3 masks, intended to protect the wearer of the mask against, among others, the Covid-19 virus.
The manufacturer of these filters can therefore under no circumstances be held responsible if contamination occurs when using cotton masks in combination with these filter sheets.

The filters are supplied in a bag of 25 pieces. Material to make a mask yourself is not included.
