With a 12-column gradient block, fast heating (3.3 °C/s), SafeLid® technology and compatibility with all common PCR consumables, this cycler offers maximum flexibility and reproducible results.

Thanks to its intuitive 7" touchscreen interface, USB export and VisioNize® connectivity for real-time monitoring, the X40 is fully prepared for the digital lab environment.

Fast PCR optimization: Testing of 12 different denaturation/annealing temperatures in a single run with temperature gradient function
Compatible with many vessel formats: 0.1/0.2 mL tubes and tube strips, 96 well plates (low/high profile unskirted, high profile semi-skirted, low profile skirted); SafeLid adjusts to different vessel heights for optimized temperature transfer and evaporation protection
For more reproducible results: high block temperature homogeneity ±0.2 °C (20 – 72 °C) and control accuracy (±0.15 °C); constant 20 °C during warm-up phase of the heated lid reduces thermal load on samples and minimizes formation of non-specific products
