The KERN ORM 1CA is a maintenance-free digital handheld refractometer, particularly suitable for measuring AdBlue®, battery fluid density and the freezing point of screen wash. Measuring ranges: refractive index 1.3330–1.4200 nD, Brix 0.0–50.0%, screen wash freezing point −60.0 to 0.0 °C, battery fluid density 1.000–1.500 kg/l and AdBlue® 0.0–51.0%. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC), mean value measurement and calibration with distilled water allow quick, reliable measurements; thanks to IP65 protection against dust and splash water, the device can be rinsed under running water after use. Supplied with prism cover, pipette, storage box, 1 × AAA battery and operating instructions.
