Kern OAB 20LED analog polarimeter
The KERN OAB 20LED is an analogue polarimeter with an ergonomic design and simple operation, measuring optical rotation according to the half-shade principle. The high-performance LED offers a significantly longer service life than a conventional sodium-vapour lamp, and its brightness is adjustable. The sample chamber accepts measuring tubes up to 220 mm; two measuring tubes of 100 and 200 mm with bubble trap, replacement lenses and sealing rings are included. Typical applications include incoming and outgoing inspection of pharmaceutical products in laboratories and pharmacies, as well as practical exercises and analyses in education and industry, such as the kinetics of sucrose inversion or determining the concentration of polysaccharides.
