Directly screwed onto the viscometer instead of the classic hook connection, the VOL-SP-2.1-S eliminates the eccentric running behaviour of the VOL-SP-2.1 spindle in the VOL-C-RTD-2.1 chamber.
Unlike the standard hook suspension, the VOL-SP-2.1-S spindle screws directly onto the viscometer, ensuring stable, concentric rotation within the VOL-C-RTD-2.1 chamber. This design effectively eliminates the eccentric running behaviour associated with the hook-mounted VOL-SP-2.1 spindle. It is particularly recommended for stiff, poorly flowing samples such as pastes, asphalt, syrups and resins, where measurement accuracy and reproducibility are critical.
