The SI 400 safety switch ensures the overhead stirrer RW 47 digital can only be switched on when the agitator is set to the user-designated height in the mixing vessel, and automatically cuts power if the unit is lifted away. Also suitable for the dispersing instrument T 65 basic/digital ULTRA-TURRAX®.
The SI 400 consists of an end switch (normally closed contact) and a magnetic switch contact (actuator), which is mounted on the floor stand R 472 using fixing device SI 472, or on the telescopic stand R 474 using fixing device SI 474. The overhead stirrer RW 47 digital can only be switched on via the SI 400 when the agitator has been set to the user-designated height inside the mixing vessel. Should the stirring unit be lifted from this position, the power to the RW 47 cuts off automatically, preventing unintended operation. The SI 400 is also compatible with the dispersing instrument T 65 basic/digital ULTRA-TURRAX®, making it a versatile safety solution for multiple laboratory applications.
