IKA ROTATEMP Temperature Control for Viscometer

The IKA ROTATEMP high-temperature system is purpose-built for use with IKA ROTAVISC viscometers, enabling precise temperature control of highly viscous and challenging media such as asphalt, bitumen, wax, polymers, candy base and hot melt adhesives at temperatures up to 300 °C. Drawing on the proven heating technology of IKA magnetic stirrers, the system heats samples to 300 °C in as little as 16 minutes when using silicone oil, with no temperature overshoot for fast and reliable results. The integrated design combines the heating oven and control unit in a single compact device, preserving valuable bench space in the laboratory. Operating at 300 W and 220–230 V, the ROTATEMP is ready for straightforward integration into any existing viscometry setup.
