The IKA Pro-Seal enables ElectraSyn 2.0 users to achieve a vacuum as low as 50 mbar inside the glass vial, facilitating the exchange of air for an inert gas in the reaction environment. Sealing mechanisms in the cap restrict gas flow into and out of the vial during use.
The IKA Pro-Seal is a sealing accessory for the ElectraSyn 2.0 that enables a vacuum as low as 50 mbar to be achieved inside the glass reaction vial, greatly simplifying the exchange of air for an inert gas. Integrated sealing mechanisms in the cap restrict gas flow into and out of the vial during the reaction, maintaining a controlled atmosphere throughout. The Pro-Seal is compatible with all current ElectraSyn 2.0 glass vials (1 ml, 2 ml, 5 ml and 10 ml) and electrodes. It can be used with the single vial holder (included with the ElectraSyn 2.0), the IKA ElectraSyn GOGO module, or the Carousel attachment for up to six vials simultaneously.
