The IKA HF.Si.20.250.50A is a high-quality heating fluid based on silicone oil, specifically designed for use with IKA bath thermostats. In closed bath vessels (HBC, CBC), the temperature range is 20 to 250 °C; in open bath vessels (ICC, IC), it is 20 to 200 °C. The viscosity at 25 °C is 50 mPa·s, and the fluid is coloured red for easy identification. The formulation contains additives that optimise thermal stability and product service life.
