The motorized IKA HELISTAND is specifically designed for measuring the viscosity of highly viscous samples with a high level of reliability. By moving the mounted viscometer and its rotating body slowly and uniformly up and down through the sample, it ensures consistent contact between the measuring element and the medium. Highly viscous materials such as creams, pastes, paints and gelatin can cause a stationary viscometer to run empty, as the rotational movement forces these substances toward the edge of the vessel. The HELISTAND effectively eliminates this problem, delivering accurate and reproducible results. Operating at 7 W and 220–230 V, this set integrates seamlessly into any laboratory setup.
