The lead electrode is a classic and widely used cathode material in organic electrochemical synthesis, distinguished by a high hydrogen evolution overpotential that enables selective reductive transformations. Within the ElectraSyn 2.0 platform, lead delivers excellent performance for reactions where other electrode materials give rise to undesired side reactions. The electrodes are manufactured for direct compatibility with the microvial and cap design of the ElectraSyn 2.0 system.
