The IKA Electrode 0.7 Aluminium is supplied as a set of 16 and is designed as a consumable for the IKA access electrochemical workstation. Aluminium has a negative standard electrode potential and forms a passivating oxide layer in many environments, making it of interest both in fundamental electrochemical research and in applied electrosynthesis. The larger set size ensures that researchers have sufficient electrode material available for extended experimental series. The electrodes are manufactured to a 0.7 mm diameter and are fully compatible with the standardised holder of the IKA access system.
