Announced at the 2017 ACS Meeting, the IKA Carousel is a patented attachment that converts the ElectraSyn 2.0 into a full six-reactor screening platform. Individual vial detection and real-time voltage monitoring per position ensure precise reaction control, while the device voltage limit caps the sum of all six reactions' actual voltages. High resistance detection and bypass circuitry maintain constant current throughout, and all six positions stir consistently at up to 1200 rpm. The Carousel is cross-compatible with all IKA vials (up to 3 Pro-Divides or 6 undivided cell vials), but is incompatible with assist mode, reference electrode or cyclic voltammetry.
