The IKA BMT-20-S-M-gamma consists of a tube, stainless steel balls and a cover, suitable for volumes of 2 to 15 ml. It is designed for dry milling of dry and brittle samples such as kaolin, gypsum, coloured pigments and tablets, as well as for cell maceration and processing of materials mixed with fluids. Gamma sterilisation makes the tube suitable for sample preparation under sterile conditions and for germ-free conservation of sensitive samples such as tissue and blood. Additional media quantities can be added during operation, and sampling can be performed without interrupting the process. The BMT-20-S-M-gamma is supplied in packing units of 20 pieces.
