The AOD 1 is designed for oxidative decomposition of solid and liquid organic and partially inorganic samples under pressure in a closed system. The system comprises a decomposition vessel, an oxygen station, an external ignition unit and a control standard.
The AOD 1 is designed for oxidative decomposition of solid and liquid organic and partially inorganic samples under pressure in a closed system. The system consists of: AOD 1.1 Decomposition vessel, C 48 Oxygen station, AOD 1.2 External ignition unit and AOD 1.11 Control standard (50 ml). Safe operation of the decomposition system requires a protective device to be in place for safe ignition of the sample. If such a protective device is already available, the AOD 1.3 remote ignition head can be added as an accessory. If no protective device is in place, the IKA AOD 1.3 protective device is a suitable solution.
