The IKA a 11.7 is a splash-protection jacket specifically designed for use with grinding chamber A 11.5 during cryogenic grinding applications. It effectively prevents dangerous splashing when liquid nitrogen is poured into the grinding chamber, significantly improving operator safety. The jacket is manufactured from PTFE, while the integrated sieve is made of stainless steel (AISI 316L) for excellent chemical resistance. The a 11.7 is not included with the analytical mill A 11 basic and must be ordered separately.
