3M™ Quick Swabs are easy to use, just follow four simple steps:

For Wet Sampling
1) Bend the red snap valve to transfer the broth into the tube
2) Remove the swab from tube and swab the targeted area. Place the swab back into the tube and bring it to the lab
3) Shake or vortex the tube vigorously for 10 seconds to release the bacteria from the swab
4) Pour the contents onto a 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate

For Dry Sampling
1) Remove the swab from the tube and swab the targeted area. Place the swab back into the tube and bring it to the lab
2) Bend the red snap valve to transfer the broth into the tube
3) Shake or vortex the tube vigorously for 10 seconds to release the bacteria from the swab
4) Pour the contents onto a Petrifilm Plate
